Washington Monthly has a
profile of Don McLeroy and colleagues that looks at his efforts to change Texas public education. Nothing new for anyone who’s followed this story, but it’s still important. Plus, it will be new to many people at the national level.
(N)o matter what happens at the ballot box, the next generation of textbooks will likely bear the fingerprints of the board’s ultraconservatives—which is just fine with McLeroy.
