I believe it’s called “consumer resistance”

OoooOOOOOoooh, now this is going to be interesting.


Nature Publishing Group, which publishes one of the two “flagship” journals for science, Nature, announced that it was going to quadruple subscription prices for the University of California system.

The University of California system, which is massive by any account, has basically said, “Negotiate, or we’re out.”

Let’s see who blinks first.
