Several papers are reporting today about the recommendation of university "readiness standards" for K-12 students, including the Austin American-Statesman, which focuses on how few students can actually do some of the requested tasks, the Houston Chronicle, and the Dallas Morning News. What's it say about evolution? Here's a quick sample: "Know multiple categories of evidence for evolutionary change and how this evidence is used to infer evolutionary relationships among organisms." No waffling language, no "strengths and weaknesses."
